When AI lists multiple brands in one response, order matters. Position measures where your brand appears relative to others — lower is better.

Reading the metric
- Position only counts responses where you were mentioned — it's paired with visibility.
- Average position of 2.3 with 80% visibility is excellent.
- Average position of 1.0 with 5% visibility means you win when you appear, but you rarely appear — grow visibility first.
